07/04 - 07/22 | International Summer School German (and) Theology Program of Summer School in 2022 Postgraduate students and young international scholars are invited to attend this three week summer school as an opportunity for theologians (even with hitherto little knowledge of German) to immerse into language, thought, and the intellectual world of German theology. | Faculty 01: Catholic and Protestant Theology | |
07/26 – 08/13 | American Studies Summer School: The American South The American Studies Summer School provides students with courses in literature and cultural studies. Starting in Little Rock, Arkansas and ending in Washington DC, participants study the Civil Rights Movement, the history of food and music in the US South, and Southern Literature. 07/25 – 08/17 | International Summer School Germersheim (ISG) Intensive Course Interpretation The „Intensive Course of Interpretation“ comprises 100 hours of perfecting language skills (of minimum C1), classes of simultaneous and consecutive interpretation, seminars on note-taking, multilingual conferences with simultaneous interpreting in our state-of-the-art interpreting booths. Lessons about linguistic/textual skills, seminars on interpretation-related subjects as well as mainly practical interpretation classes. 07/25 – 08/17 | International Summer School Germersheim (ISG) Translation/Introduction to Interpretation The course „Translation/Introduction to Interpreting“ comprises lessons about linguistic/textual skills, seminars on translation-related subjects as well as mainly practical translation and interpretation classes. 07/22 – 08/01 | Forster Summer School explores - nuclear fission. Discovery, impacts and perspectives. Forster Summer School 2022 is dedicated to the controversies surrounding the scientific achievement of nuclear fission, the (in)responsible handling of it, the worldwide effects of such high-risk technologies and possible future perspectives of use. 08/29 - 09/16 | IMB Online International Summer School on Gene Regulation, Epigenetics and Genome Stability The Online International Summer School on “Gene Regulation, Epigenetics and Genome Stability” (ISS) is a 3-week programme for outstanding international students. It is coordinated by the Institute of Molecular Biology Mainz (IMB). Participants acquire excellent training from leading scientists in molecular biology through lectures, courses and by working on group projects on cutting-edge topics. | Faculty 10: Biology |
